Employment prospects for Palestinians in Europe and the Gulf : Insights from online labour market data

This study analyses employment prospects for Palestinians abroad by combining online job postings (2019–2025) with anonymised social profile data to assess the alignment between international labour demand and skills supply. It finds strong demand in Europe, the Gulf and Anglophone countries for high‑skilled roles in ICT, business, finance and project management, broadly matching a well‑educated Palestinian diaspora. Digitalisation and remote work expand cross‑border opportunities, while career pathways demonstrate significant upward mobility. The findings highlight the need to integrate online labour market intelligence into national skills anticipation systems, promote targeted skills development aligned with international career pathways, and strengthen mobility schemes and diaspora engagement to enhance access to global opportunities
