Building lifelong learning systems: Skills for green and inclusive societies in the digital era
On 21 to 25 June 2021 the European Training Foundation organised, jointly with UNESCO, an online event entitled ‘Building lifelong learning systems: skills for green and inclusive societies in the digital era’. The conference, which was organised with the collaboration of EBRD, ILO and UNICEF, had a double objective: to create a forum for joint reflection on national and international experience in transforming education and training systems into lifelong learning, and to confirm priorities for future cooperation in the area of human capital development against the backdrop of global developments and challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic. This document presents the main conclusions of the conference in the shape of actionable ideras and recommendations.
